Which type of licenses do you offer? 

We offer subscription-based pricing that is tiered in three levels (as outlined above).

In addition, you can add on:

  • Security Add-On (File encryption, Pause/resume recording, and Cisco recording announcement) as well as
  • Screen Recording with multiple monitors support.

Is licensing based per seat or session?

MiaRec bases its pricing on the number of seats or users. MiaRec licenses each seat/user allowing for one recorded call at a time for each user. In most cases, that is sufficient. If a user is expected to have multiple calls concurrently (like a group or department number) then additional licenses will be required.

Can I have advanced features like speech analytics for some users but not all?

Yes, licensing can be mixed and matched to be assigned per user to suit your needs. A minimum of 5 seats are required for each additional category added.

Is there a maintenance fee added to on-prem licenses?

For subscription based licenses, the cost of maintenance is included in the price.

What happens if I exceed my licenses?

Calls are still recorded and can be retrieved once the licensing is updated.

Please note: Licenses should be updated in a timely manner (normally within the month, we will not retrieve calls older than 1 month).

What is the minimum seat requirement?

We require a minimum of 25 seats per customer for an on-premise deployment.

Do you charge for professional services? 

Yes. We do charge for professional services, which will include assistance with installation, configuration, onboarding and training. The cost of professional services is assessed based on the total project.
