How to record calls from Linksys WRTP54G

Linksys WRTP54G

The Linksys WRTP54G is a Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports for Vonage.

It is four devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network.

There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together.

The Router function lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

The fourth function is the phone adapter which enables high-quality feature-rich telephone service through your high-speed connection.

There are two standard telephone jacks, each operating independently -- like having two phone lines.

This guide contains information about how to use MiaRec for recording calls on Linksys WRTP54G.

You need:

  • HUB (see What is a HUB?)
  • Router (see note 1)
